Dry Ice
I think dry ice turns into gas when you put water. Here's some words about dry ice. Melting means that when its hot where the ice is the ice can't survive hot cause its used for cold stuff. Freezing means very cold. Sublimation means that it transforms liquid into solid. Boiling means make ice into gas. Contrasting is the word I don't know. When the water went into the dry ice it looked like gas coming out of the box and the box had the dry ice in it.

10/18/11-10/19/11
Yesterday I saw some pics about rats and all other kinds of animals and then you had go to a place with the number that Mrs.Tracy told you and then you see the number and you read the whole thing on that number than it will tell you where to go like how many spaces. Today we went on a field trip to the Grayton Beach to plant to help the mice in the dunes.

Essential Question
In educational terms, an "essential question" is a question that drives the lesson being taught. When creating a lesson plan, the teacher should base the lesson on essential questions, which are based on concepts that students should understand by the time they complete the unit. Preferably, essential questions should provoke thought, and not be answered "yes" or "no." ("Why is the sky blue?" not "Is the sky blue?")
For example, in a lesson plan about the water cycle, essential questions might be:
- What are the steps in the water cycle?
- What are the causes and effects of evaporation?
- Why is the water cycle important?
